District and State Student College Entrance Exam Performance
On average, SAISD students consistently score below state levels on both the SAT and ACT college entrance exams, but we made gains on the gap in SAT.
Research suggests that socioeconomic status does influence scores. Students with a family income below $30,000 represented 67% of our district but only 26% for the state on the SAT.
