In their first concert as The Hexagon’s Resident Orchestra, we are very pleased to welcome the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under the eminent British conductor, Barry Wordsworth. Joining them on this important evening is perhaps the most renowned of all British pianists, John Lill, who has been delighting audiences in the UK for over 40 years with his famed interpretation of the classical and romantic repertoire. Tonight he will perform two works by Liszt, the Piano Concerto No.1 and the thrilling Totentanz for Piano & Orchestra. The concert will start with Beethoven’s exuberant 8th Symphony and will end with one of Brahms most profound works, his Symphony No.3.
