DIRECTOR & OFFICER INSURANCE

Diane Bates-Sier is submitting a summary of events for our records.

REVIEW OF GOALS

1.

Financial

A question from last board meeting was whether there is a limit on how much money we may accrue in our bank account since we are non-profit.  The answer is that there is no limit, as long as the money is eventually re-invested into our organization.

A second question dealt with who is on the PNC Bank signature card.  Wendy Wustner and Jacque George are both on the account signature card now.

2.

Active regions and support from the Board

Diane Bates-Sier had told Jacque George that the membership list had been sent to the three regional directors for them to pull out their zip codes.  Georgi Anderson stated she has not received this list from Diane.

Sandra McSwain will join Diane Bates-Sier in contacting the Eastern Region directors.

Jacque George will join Kathy Minnich in contacting the Western Region directors.

Debra Doubrava reported the website has links for each region.

3.  Publicizing and Recruiting

Membership applications were handed out, as were the $20 coupons printed on letterhead.  The coupons are only to be given when a person is attending a workshop or event, completes the application with payment (during the workshop or event), returns it to the PA APT board member, and then the board member must fill in the blanks on the coupon before giving it to the new member.  The board member then mails the application in to APT.

Wendy Wustner will order a large bulk quantity of the “Why Play Therapy” brochures for board members to use.

Events when a board member has or will publicize PA APT include:

Lori Fedorcyzk presented “Technology in Play Therapy” as a Central Region workshop on Oct. 16th.  This was our first occasion to give play therapy CE’s through a regional workshop – Good job, Lori!

Brigitte Wieble presented a 3 hour workshop “Introduction to Play Therapy” for Family Service Partners on Oct. 20th.

Debra Doubrava did a talk at Cancer Wellness in Carlisle.  She also is doing a sandtray group at work and passing out play therapy information.

Wendy Wustner will be presenting play therapy techniques to Family Based co-workers.

Lori Fedorcyzk will present Play Therapy & Filial to co-workers in Jan., 2006.

Sandra McSwain is doing a 3 hour presentation in Feb., 2006.
