    Learning takes place in many settings. We learn many lessons through our experiences with people from all walks of life. Write a paragraph about a time when you learned something important from someone. Include who, what, when, where and why this happened. You may illustrate your paragraph.

    Think of all the different people you have learned about in American History: settlers, explorers, slaves, plantation owners, factory workers, presidents, etc. Draw a picture with two people in it. Try to tell a story or something about what relationship these two people have in your picture.
