Sichuan-East China gas pipeline construction and production both on the way
e Sichuan-East China Gas
project has stepped into the critical stage of construction and the production concurrently, according to a report from China Petrochemical News on September 23 this year.
Currently, the Puguang gas field’s first stage has started production work in full swing. The first two devices are being installed in Puguang Natural Gas Purification Plant and long- distance pipeline construction are to be completed.
Puguang gas field has completed deployment of 31 wells among a
total of 39. e development and construction of Dawan Bay Area around Puguang has started. e construction of Puguang gas field Phase I, with a production capacity of 2 billion cubic meters, is going ahead at full steam. Among the 9 wells under development in No.3 Line, six have been put into trial production. Four wells including the 302-2 have completed trial operation.
Five ground tunnels of Puguang gas collection and tramsportation have been completed. Line 1 and Line 3 roads have run through, with a total road completion accounting for 92 percent of
the total. Additionally, other major projects are developing vigorously and almost all construction work has been completed.
Puguang 220 kilovolt power transmission project and 35 kilovolt cable line project have completed 84 percent and 94 percent. e 1,630-km pipeline welding has also finished 83 percent. Sixty-five mountain tunnels of 72 have been thoroughly accomplished. Four tunnels through the Yangtze River have got through. Dazhou Fertilizer Project and Chuanwei Synthetic Ammonia Project both have been in the tail-out stage.

China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) has one refinery in Huizhou City of Guangdong Province. Among the 21 projects, Sinopec Corporation's refinery and ethylene integrated project in Fujian Province, and West Pacific Petrochemical's project in Dalian are not joint ventures.
China to have 21 large refinery projects in 2010

China’s largest offshore oil platform put into production
China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) on September 16 announced the largest offshore oilfield in China was put into production in advance.
e Penglai 19-3 Oilfield
is CNOOC’s joint offshore oil platform with Petro-
ConocoPhillips Company in Bohai Bay.
Phase II of the Penglai 19-3 includes 5 platforms and central processing facilities. Among that, the platform A and C have been put into production before, and the Platform D and E will be also put into operation later.
Liu Jian, executive vice president of CNOOC, said phase II of the Penglai 19-3 project is one of its key projects this year. CNOOC holds 51 percent interest, and ConocoPhillips, the operator, takes the remainder.
