Are media racist and, if so, how?

Is it more accurate to say that the media are the sites of racist incidents by racist individuals?

Are the media racist by definition, given their priorities, agenda, operational values, and practices?

What would non-racist media look like?

The actual impact on public perception re stereotypes, disadvantages to those portrayed in a negative way (psychological, social, health-related issues),  empowerment of dominant groups, conflicts, and protests

Reasons for the biased portrayal of various groups

Names of the perpetrators, for example, particular news services, names of certain journalists, particular TV programs, and so on; and what action was taken by the organization/company to stop these racist acts
