Siebel Queries usually complex with a mix of mostly random 8K reads and a minority of 64K reads

With 13500 users working on different cases, high I/O rates need to be managed

Data files spread over 294 disks in 7 LUNs with 42 disks each. Every LUN built up with 27GB Hypervolume per disk – RAID1+0

Tempdb is used by Siebel due to some aggregations or more complex joins

Tempdb spread on 2 volumes each spread on 10 disks (Hypervolume size = 27GB) – RAID 1+0

Log on one volume spread over 20 disks (Hypervolume size = 27GB) – physically separated disks from data files – RAID 1+0
