Elegant Villa Southern Belize FOCUS ON: Lagoon Shores, Roche Harbor, WA On 175 feet of Prime Caribbean Beach the ferry and had to wait for another. It was obvious that many folks were used to the delays as people parked their cars, played Frisbee with their dogs, snoozed, etc. Loving ferry trips, we enjoyed both the coming and the going. The trip takes several hours and many of the islands passed are unin- habited or privately owned. The weather was typical spring; layers and rain gear are appropriate. By Paula King Tyner With 2 guest suites and a cottage, plus large personal quarters. Sometimes telephone calls to RCI result in amazing trades!! During one of my calls a counselor offered us a unit at Lagoon Shores. It is one of the resorts listed at the end of the section in the RCI book with no photo and “Limited availability”. We accepted the RCI counselor’s offer and booked it nine months out. Excellent acquisition for timeshare developer. Visit our web site: www.mariposabelize.com. When we arrived at Friday Har- bor, we navigated to the North/west end of the island. We eventually found the Roche Harbor Resort and went in- side to inquire about our accommoda- tions. We were treated courteously and given keys and directions. Boy, what a trade! Lagoon Shores is a Gold Crown resort located in the San Juan Islands off of the Washing- ton Coast. The ferry at Anacortes is 75 miles north. of Seattle and 92 miles south of Vancouver, B.C. We drove to the ferry site at Anacortes, which is several hours from our home. Due to the heavy ferry traffic we missed E-Mail, Phone or Fax for a detailed prospectus with photographs. Phone: 011-501-523-4069 Fax: 011-501-523-4076 E-Mail: foxbuddy@btl.net The condominiums are across the harbor and almost facing the Resort. The units are on a hill and plenty of trees have been left standing. There are worn paths in the ground cover leading to the water. The timeshare units are lovely. Want to know what timeshare professionals know? We had a unit that sleeps ten people with privacy for six, as I recall. There are two full bedrooms on the main floor with full bathrooms. a hide- a-bed in the sofa, and the loft that sleeps the additional four and has a 3/ 4 bathroom. The main living area is small but charming with a wonderful view of Roche Harbor. We loved the prints on the walls. Vacation Ownership WORLD is the leading publication for timeshare professionals -- developers, finance com- panies, marketers, etc. We've covered the timeshare industry, objectively, for over 30 years (we are not owned or sponsored by any industry organization). So if you're interested in the business side of vacation ownership, The living room has a sofa, chairs, a television, and a small, cozy gas fire- place. Off of it, is a small, but well equipped kitchen with a nook for eat- ing. The nook is completely surrounded by bay windows overlooking the Har- bor and there is a skylight, which lets in even more light. There is a deck and a spiral staircase to the large loft. The units are non-smoking. Housekeeping and both grounds and building mainte- nance were excellent. There are steps call or e-mail us for more information: Call: 360-676-4146 E-Mail: Resort@nas.com
