New Executive Director Susan Phillips
W e welcome Susan Burpee Phillips as our new Executive Director of the Whitesbog Preservation Trust as of September 22, 2008. Susan most recently worked for the Awbury Arboretum Association in Philadelphia as their Director of Development and Public Programs for 2 years. Prior to that she spent several years with Center in the Park as their Associate Director of Development, and more than 8 years with the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society as their Greens Program manager, directing a large urban tree planting program. Susan brings a lot of exciting ideas for furthering the mission of the Trust, and we look forward to continued growth under her management in the coming years. Susan is anxious to meet Trust members and volunteers to round out her perspective of where the Trust is and where it is going. If you are out at Whitesbog anytime in the future stop in the Trust offices, introduce yourself, and get acquainted. ■
