Message From The Conference Committee
Welcome to the fifth Coastal Region Hazardous Materials Response Organization (CRHMRO) “Transportation Conference”. This organization was formed in the early 1990’s by a small group of hazmat responders from S.F. Bay Area public agencies and private industry. The goals at the time were to network, display equipment, share response plans and ideas, train together, and practice responding to hazmat drills together.
CHRMRO goals include teamwork within a joint command system, communications between agencies public and private, common response practices and procedures, networking to create trust and good working relationships, understand each other’s capabilities, disaster planning, and train to respond together as one.
The current world climate has changed, organizational goals have increased, our conference title has expanded, while the purpose remains the same; “Public Safety.”
The CRHMRO is proud to bring you quality instructors with years of experience, knowledge, and dedication to their professions. Please take advantage of all they have to offer. “Enjoy & Learn”
Sincerely, CHRMRO Coastal Region Hazardous Materials Response Organization
