taken as basis.

The main principle in teaching language is to acquire and use communication skills instead of grammatical rules. "Social environments" are realistically created for the activities. The primary task of the teacher is to prepare materials and these realistic environments and guide pupils to practice these activities. Pupils use the language as a tool for expressing their own real ideas and feelings in the activities.

Pupils build interaction among themselves rather than the teacher. The teacher helps and guides pupils. The program is drawn up according to the pupils' abilities in using English and the topics that they need to talk about, Project-based, pupil-centered and interactive activities are used, Efforts are made to enable pupils to be acquainted with other cultures, to acquire social skills and intellectual background, Emphasis is given on "autonomy of the learner", . Computer technology and other technical facilities are utilized,
