Reading Comprehension: He can understand the texts that consist of the most frequently used words related to daily life or the topics of personal interest.
Spoken Interaction: He can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst traveling in an area where the language is spoken. He can communicate on topics that are familiar, of personal interest or related to everyday life (e.g. family, hobbies, work, travel and current events)
Spoken Production: He can connect phrases in a simple way in order to describe his experiences, dreams, hopes, ambitions and events. He can briefly give reasons and explanations for the opinions plans. He can narrate a story or relate the plot of a book or film and describe his reactions.
Writing: He can write simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. He can write personal letters to describe his experience and impression.
It is aimed to offer supplementary programs (Completion of Deficiencies-Personal Support) after school hours for the ones who are behind the program or who have advanced foreign language skills so that the number of pupils who have difficulties in learning process is decreased and the personal skills are devoloped.
4) Turkish-Mathematics Program Turkish Language and Literature
Turkish Language and Literature Program primarily aims to orient pupils toward thinking, learning, and searching and develop their written and verbal production skills through the methods and techniques rendering them active.
In these lessons, it is aimed to enable pupils to develop language skills through studying texts, making comment, comprehension and explanation; to be acquainted with the work of art and develop an artistic sense.
Within this program, it is aimed to raise pupils as the individuals who are sensitive to environmental and social affairs, who have an awareness of mother tongue, who freely express their feelings and ideas, who have a questioning and researching viewpoint, who are respectful for their own culture and other cultures, who have an advanced self- reliance, who develop a sound communication skill, who have an advanced sense of aesthetics, who produce original and free ideas, who coherently defend these ideas in appropriate situations, who have a sense of self-knowledge, who defend their ideas, who adopt a world vision and are able to transfer it to their life.
In the implementation of the subject, it is intended to:
spend a minimum of one hour of weekly lessons for reading books, research, and project presentation
prepare interactive programs for technology classes in order to increase visual and practical studies
enable pupils to succeed in verbal and written production, to develop their language skills
