Educational activities are carried out through educational clubs set up in line with the pupils' inclinations.
These activities enable pupils to both develop skills, abilities and have a good time. Studies are presented to students and parents at the end of each year.
In educational club activities, the following principles are adopted:
Pupils and teachers participate in at least one educational activity in line with their inclinations and abilities
Chess, mathematics, science, philosophy clubs are set up in order to support the pupils' mental developments; literature, creative thinking, press-publication, drama clubs are set up in order to develop their self-expression skills. Pupils are encouraged to join these clubs. These clubs organize activities such as competition, panel, discussion, seminar, demonstration, publication of newspaper and journal for the school community
In an effort to support the pupils' aesthetic senses, instruction is also given in cultural and artistic areas such as art, music, theatre, folk dancing after school hours. Demonstration and exhibition are organized in schools. Pupils are given opportunities to take part in organizations out of school whenever possible
To support their physical developments, school teams are set up in the areas of sport, folk dancing, scouting etc. Pupils are encouraged to participate in local and national contests and demonstrations motivating these activities
Current educational activities are reviewed with the purpose of eliminating monotony in some activities and rendering some activities more functional and fruitful such as environment-trip and observation activity which raises health and environment awareness
Each activity is performed by a group set up by an adequate number of pupils for that activity under the supervision and inspection of a teacher. It is given emphasis on team working. However individual assistance and abilities are taken into consideration and evaluated
It is given importance to creating environments and conditions that enable pupils to enjoy their work, to take part in these activities voluntarily, to work in an atmosphere of awareness and participation
The schools and teachers at all education levels are offered active, continuous, and instructive supervision, evaluation and orientation services. Multi-control, criterion-based control and self-control are carried out. In this context, it is aimed at the immediate preparation and implementation of the "Law of Education Supervision".
