Rockies”.

This year’s theme is “Cruise’n

the the

Rockies”. Our gathering is held in

beautiful

mountain

town

of

Breckenridge, CO with the final activity “Show n Shine” on Main Street in Frisco,

CO on Sunday.

Since LGCA is the host

club,

our

members

are

given

the

front-

end

photo privilege

as well as the mid-

dle of the street parking. The event runs from July 22nd

through July 25th

this year.

At the time of this writing, there are over 375 Corvette enthusiasts regis- tered for this event from all over the United States. This number does- n’t even include the spectators that drive to the mountains just to wit- ness the finale; the street show on Sunday. The “Show n Shine” is a beautiful sight to behold and it’s even better to be a participant. This is the 37th Anniversary of this summer classic. It’s not too late to register

or volunteer.

Kate & I are looking forward to seeing and visiting with all of you who will be in attendance as you are enjoying old friendships and making new ones. “Vettes on the Rockies” was our first introduction to LGCA and its members 6 years ago and it is one of the reasons we pursued membership with LGCA and have enjoyed new friendships which have enriched our lives.

Our Club is a group of caring, supportive, fun people, ….and oh, yes, fellow Corvette lovers!

See you in Breckenridge!

Dan Barker, President
