LGCA Business Meeting Minutes-June 1, 2010

President Dan Barker called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

Membership chair, Sherron Garnett, introduced our guests: Tom & Doris Foster, Barbara and Jim Cassell, Jason Hohler, Don Shaw and Chris Tooker.

The following people joined LGCA this evening: Cindy and Frank Ellis, Dave Dempsey, Ray and Jeanne Keeler, and Susan and Scott Spelman.

Dan introduced "The Dean", Tom Mores, head of the "2 Much for You University", the school of Corvette handling. Dan encouraged our membership to assist Tom in recruiting new members for the "U". Dan also mentioned, Jeannie Avery will open future meetings with a humorous story.

Dan introduced member Ed Baker, who thanked everyone for their support during his recent illness. Dan mentioned that Mark and Cathy Lewis also wanted to express their appreciation for the Club's support dur- ing Mark's illness.

Treasurer, Mike Clark gave a financial report. Mike mentioned we now have 208 members in LGCA.

Secretary, San Lugger gave out name badges to new members and mentioned anniversary dangles will be given out next month. We now have a supply of LGCA business cards for our members to use.

Public Relations chair, Tom Robben went over upcoming events. The Vettefest in Boise, Idaho was can-

1. The merchandise committee will promote our club jacket.

2. Our name tags will be the Club's primary means of recognition.

3. A recognition dinner is not possible.

4. The editor of Reflections is responsible for content in the Club’s newsletter. Any concerns about an article should be discussed with the Officers of LGCA.

Social chair, Ed Baker went over upcoming club events which include: a drive to Grand Lake and Trail Ridge Road on June 12 and the Heritage Square dinner and show on August 21.

Car Shows, Ron Chrysler went over upcoming events which include; Golden Super Cruise the first Saturday of every month, June 12, Wild West Auto Show in Golden, June 19, Castle Rock Cruise and car show, June 20, Colorado Nationals in Loveland, June 27, Piper Inn Cruise In, and August 26 car show at Bandimere.

Drag Racing, Forrest Thompson, mentioned 12 members attended the last event, Mike Clark made the fi- nal round. Next event is June 4.
