Open Road Racing, Jamie Lou Thompson, announced Forrest Thompson was awarded the "Instructor of the Year". Congratulations, Forrest!

Purifoy’s 50th Anniversary event co-chair, Dave Everett reminded everyone they need to register by June 20. Cost is $5 per person. The event will run from 2-8 p.m. All types of cars are invited.

Charity co-chairs, Chris and Jerry Dale reminded everyone about the Mount St. Vincents Children’s Home picnic this Sunday. Jerry indicated the White Fence Farm dinner was a success with 60 people and 33 cars in attendance. There were 43 members at Dino’s for dinner tonight prior to the Business Meeting.

Refreshment chair, Grace Carey thanked Cathy Lewis, Bob and Donna Blackwood, Carole and Roland Tomsick, Rich and Brenda Phillips, Barbara and Bill Cramer, and Sue James for providing refreshments for tonight’s meeting.

Parades: Steve Culbertson filling in for Dick Clements, reminded everyone the Frisco Parade will be July 4. Everyone needs to meet at the McDonald’s at the Evergreen Parkway exit off of I-70 at 10 a.m. Parade starts at 12:30 p.m.

Steve discussed the upcoming VOTR event. Registrations are down from last year. Three hundred people have signed up so far. Only 64 club members have registered. They still need volunteers. See Chris Dale to volunteer.

Steve also received approval to purchase a wireless credit card machine to replace our current ver- sion. This will allow use of credit cards on Frisco’s Main Street on Sunday. The officers approved on-going charges of $20.00 for hook up and $5.00 for monthly bank fees for the new unit.

Sam Parker reminded everyone to save soap and shampoo when they stay at a hotel. She donates these items to the Battered Women's Shelter in Arvada.
