2009 Wine & Other Delights

The Friends of The Has- brouck Heights Free Public Library, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce, held their Annual “Wine & Other Delights” fundraiser on Thursday, October 22, 2009, at the Hilton Hotel. It was a huge success. The event drew over 120 people from the com- munity to support the upcom- ing Chamber’s Holiday Parade and The Library’s endowment fund. This year’s entertain- ment included two excellent comedians -- Ted Daniels and Joe Conte. They had everyone laughing as each of them shared stories about their family life and experiences. Additional monies were raised through raffle drawings of prize bas- kets, 50/50, and mystery grab bags that promised a wonderful

gift worth more than the price. It was a memorable night for all that came. Story and photos by Peter Gallo Jr. ###
