The very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and strewed them on the road. The crowds preceding Him and those following kept crying out and saying: “Hosanna to the Son of David”.
Read – Matthew 26:14-27 Today is Palm Sunday and Jesus triumphantly enters Jerusalem to a crowd joyfully celebrating a king. An optional reading from the Lectionary today places Jesus before Pilate answering questions. Jesus knew the peo- ple who were accusing Him and the intended outcome they were hoping for in their hearts. Has trying to be a good steward ever put you in a precarious situation? Did you sense Jesus standing with you in that situation?
The family of Lois Randerson would like to thank everyone who helped with Lois’s funeral - Fr. Dave, Deacon Don, the serv- ers, organist and choir. They would also like to thank the ladies in the kitchen for the wonderful dinner, and all who brought food. Thank you to every- one who came to the funeral and who are praying for us.
