the American Culinary Federation (ACF) has remained true to the goal established by the founding members. By providing educational opportunities for established professional chefs, the ACF continues to elevate the profession. As the primary representative of the culinary profession, the ACF plays an important role in prompting the highest standards in the training of American Chefs. In addition, as an association organized in local chapters, the ACF provides chefs with a forum through which to meet with colleagues, exchange ideas and skills, and gain a stronger identity with their chosen profession.
