written and produced a musical play called "The Sustainability Ship Meets the Titanium." I also play violin and sing with a singer- songwriter-piano-and-guitar- playing friend for assorted concerts and events. Most days I feel blessed.
Ty Hilkert: I've become a Universal Life Church minister. I figured since I got my ministerial certificate off the internet I might as well get my clerical collar (below) off e bay. It's eerie how well it suits me, isn't it? If only I weren't a Buddhist...
Joe Sullivan: Twenty Big Greeners shared holiday cheer on Dec. 21 in Boston. "Co-host" Dan O'Connor used a lame excuse to cancel at the last minute. The group was dominated by 78s Andy Cutler, Tripp Peake, Jay Murphy, Pete Renner, Rick Foster, Jim Bullion, Mike Pittenger & Tom Garden. Bill Stout ‘77 & Jerry Bird & Curt Flight ‘80 helped us keep the average age of the group at a reasonable level!
Dan Galyon -- I look forward to reunion and hope to be there for part of the weekend.
We are setting up for the Newport Bermuda Race the following week so I can't commit to more than Saturday. The sailing
off season is downtime, so attached is an article from a European magazine for X-Yachts about one of our successes last year.
I saw Hugh Dyar this fall at the Petit fundraiser and hope he can join us for a little big boat action in 2008. He is a very accomplished competitive sailor too.
This is a spread from a yachting magazine about Dan’s victory in the Block Island Race.
Rob Portman: I am planning on going to the reunion and hope to catch up with you there. After 15 years of commuting in Congress and 2 cabinet jobs, in August I left as Director of OMB to head home to my wonderfully patient family. I am back with a law firm in Cincinnati. The firm is called Squire, Sanders and it is headquartered in Cleveland. It's nice because they have offices around the globe - 30 offices in 14 countries -- so I am able to work on international trade and transactions while living in Cincinnati.
Mary-Ellyn Tarzy: I tried to record my reunion intention on the web site but unfortunately no space for regrets. Will be in Hanover the prior weekend to see my son graduate but will have to get back -
our school is still in session and I
have classes to teach.
