The loss incidents that occurred in 2001 showed how important well- trained personnel are for a knowledge-driven company like Gerling. And qualified staff will continue to be in high demand in the future – for underwriting, risk management, actuarial, claims adjustment and other operations. So, in order to keep high performers, it is important for Gerling to embrace forward-looking personnel bonding concepts

an insurer. Also needed is a readiness to respond to rapidly changing conditions and actively shape the future. Client orientation, service mentality and identification with the company are prime requirements for successful operations. We would like to extend our deepest thanks to all our staff for their great dedication in the difficult financial year 2001.
