3.4 WirelessMAN OFDM PHY Layer

This version of the 256­point OFDM based air interface specification seems to be favored by the WiMAX forum for reasons such as lower peak to average ratio, faster fast fourier transform (FFT) calculation, and less stringent requirements for synchronization compared to 2048­point WirelessMAN OFDMA.
