A professional architect and Parsons School of Design–trained artist, Coralina Meyer explores the subtleties of scale and the relationship between figure and landscape, subject and object, in her work. Her photographs, drawings, paintings, sculpture, and multimedia compositions have been exhibited throughout the United States in New York, Miami, and Washington, D.C., and in Puerto Rico. Meyer, who had a traumatic brain injury, seeks to examine the visible and sometimes overlooked experiences of the body, mapping the physical relics of a concealed existence. Mapping the innate connection between mind and body, Meyer’s work explores what it means to be human.
