Canfield asked that Klocek get a quote for laying out the lots from the same company that did New Russia Township's cemetery.


Sigmund reported a permit for a shed at 41821 Whitney Road, a garage sale at 16740 Indian Hollow and a new home at 17523 Whitehead Road.

A response from the Prosecutor was presented in regards to the Zoning Commission request to review conditional use permits prior to a hearing.  The prosecutor stated that the zoning item referring to the Zoning Commission reviewing conditional use permit should be removed from the zoning book.  He noted that they should not review the cases except as citizens.  

A letter from the Prosecutor was received verifying that the appeal of Burnett’s case has been filed and a motion to stay was granted.

Sigmund reported violations on Whitehead Road that are being sent to the prosecutor.

A hearing will be held by the BZA on April 19 to consider the request of Joe Maruskin to operate a home occupation.

Moore reported that the financial reports for March were presented for review for the next meeting.

Incentive items have been received for the recycling grant.  T-shirts and plastic bag holders will be given out at random to those who participate in the recycling program in the township.

The newsletter is complete and being set up at the Rural Urban for publication.  Garage Sale days are July 12, 13, 14th of July.


Burnett reported that they had held a short meeting to review the signage for Spacebound.  Community Health Partners will meet with the village planning commission later this month for their plan review.  The nursing home will possibly close on their land later this week.

A bill was received from the village for $1500.00 to Columbia Gas for an application to remove the right of way from the property.  Kim Strauss thought that this should be paid by the CIC but maybe they did not have enough money to pay it until the Nursing Home closed their deal. He will check with Rita Ruot on this bill and if the village and township will pay it or the CIC.
