Ongoing sessions at the International Textiles and Apparel Association annual meeting in 2008 focused on (1) developing collaborations to demonstrate how such relationships can be developed and (2) structural equation modeling to facilitate information exchange about this powerful statistical analysis technique among scholars interested in social change in the marketplace.
In 2009 a session on Structural Equation Marketing (SEM) was held at the AMS/ACRA meeting.
Impact of these multi-year activities:
Approximately $1,885,946 in funding awarded to researchers studying social change in the marketplace who had participated in the activities sponsored by NCCC-65 members.
New research collaborations have been developed to better address issues related to social change in the marketplace.
Report from NCRA Administrator - Marilyn Delong
Administrative Advisor Marilyn DeLong reported that NCCC-65 passed midterm review. She outlined the process and timeline for renewal. Based upon ensuing discussion the group decided to move forward in the renewal process next year.

The next meeting will be held in Montreal, Canada October 31 and November 1, 2010 if permission is granted.
