This week, another “critter” apparently discovered in the Battleship TEXAS Wildlife Refuge and Pet Sanctuary. BB35 Collections Manager Susan Smyer barely solved the raccoon problem, when ’lo and behold, this possum came out of nowhere. However, what we’re most curious about is where the tree came from, since we never noticed it on the ship before. She snapped the photo on October 14, and with Hard Hat Tours and the Timeline Military Living History events going on, she certainly couldn’t break loose from the ship to traipse through the forest. Susan?!?

Our grand finale comes to us from BB35 Collections Manager Susan Smyer – yes, she seems to be blossoming into quite the prolific photographer! She happened to snap this one on October 14, too, on the ensign flying on the BB35 fantail. No doubt this seagull was getting a “birds-eye” view of BB35!!!
