hen the Isleham Informer was started four whole years ago, it was a bimonthly publication. Later, the paucity of contributions received necessitated its downgrading to a quarterly. Now, however, we are struggling to fit everything in and are therefore happy to announce that once again, there will be six issues each year. Hopefully this will result in Isleham being Informed of village news and events more quickly than previously. The annual cost to advertisers will obviously increase by 50%, but so will their visibility. We will still, of course, require villagers to help us keep everything up to date. W
The deadline for contributions to the August issue will be 9th July and we will be giving special emphasis to the Gala, so if you have any reflections or stories, please send them in: email firstname.lastname@example.org or to Glenda Preece at 94 The Causeway. ■

Erratum In the March 2007 issue of the Isleham Informer, it was stated on page 4 that because of the extension to the Recreation Ground, the short cut through the area was closed. We have since learned that there has never been an official short cut to Hall Barn Road here and (quite probably) never will be: anyone who does cut through the field is trespassing. We apologise for any confusion that the statement may have caused.
