A Mobile Science Experience

Science in a Real Mobile Lab A Mobile Science Experience

The Science Academy is available to bring its “Mobile Lab Experience” to your school, organization or event! Just as George Washington Carver took science and agricultural education to his community in a truck known as the “Movable School” in the early 1900’s, The Science Academy is able to bring “hands-on” science to your community in its 20 ft. enclosed trailer.

Complete with heat and air conditioning, the mobile lab is equipped with counters and chairs for teaching up to sixteen students at a time in a “Discovery Lab” format. Scientific equipment and supplies, including microscopes, are on board for exploration and discovery.

The mobile lab is also available as an Interactive Science Museum that can be parked at facilities and events equipped with scientific displays for people to enjoy observing. Displays include microscopic studies, experiments, technology, and collections such as fossils, insects, rocks, and skeleton casts.

Schools sometimes host the mobile lab through special funding such as mini- grants and foundations at their schools or through requesting a nominal fee from individual students.
