Engineering with a minor in Biosystems Engineering Surveying and Land Information

  • Petroleum Geoscience

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Subjects at CSEC (CXC)/GCE O-Level

  • Passes in five (5) subjects at CSEC (CXC) General Proficiency (Grades I-III)/GCE O- Level which must include English Language, Chemistry and Mathematics.

  • Two 2-unit passes in Pure/Pure & Applied Mathematics and Physics at CAPE/GCE A- Level or equivalent.

OR

Equivalent qualifications from Community Col- leges and Technical Schools.

For Civil Engineering & Electrical & Computer Industrial and Mechanical Engineering Passes in two 2-Units of CAPE/GCE A- Level in Pure Mathematics or Mathemat- ics (Pure and Applied) and Physics, and CSEC (CXC)/O-Level Chemistry.

For Chemical and Process Engineering Passes in two 2-units of Chemistry at CAPE/GCE A-Level in Pure Mathematics or Mathematics (Pure and Applied), Phys- ics and CSEC (CXC)/O-Level Chemistry is also required.

For Petroleum Geoscience Three (3) GCE A-Levels [with highly com- petitive grades] in Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry and one other Science Sub- ject.

For Surveying and Land Information Two 2-unit passes at CAPE or GCE A- Level in Pure Mathematics or Mathemat- ics (Pure and Applied), Chemistry, Phys- ics, Physical Science, Geography, Engi- neering Science, Economics, Technical Drawing or any other relevant subject, and O-Level/CSEC (CXC) Physics where CAPE/GCE A-Level Physics is not at- tained.

NOTE: Holders of Associate degrees or diplomas from approved Caribbean tertiary level institutions must possess a minimum GPA of 3.5 or 65% and above.
