THE UNIVERSITY OF THE WEST INDIES (UWI) is a dynamic international institution, serving prima- rily the countries of the Commonwealth Caribbean: Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, The Bahamas, Bar- bados, Belize, the British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, Montserrat, and St. Kitts-Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago and the Turks and Caicos Islands. The University consists of three main campuses situated at Cave Hill, Barbados, Mona, Jamaica and St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago, as well as the Centre for Hotel and Tour- ism Management in Nassau, The Bahamas, and a "University Centre"/Resident Representative lo- cated on each of the non-campus countries.
The UWI through its seven (7) Faculties, offers un- dergraduate and postgraduate degrees, as well as Certificate and Diploma programmes designed to meet the changing needs of the Caribbean, but equally applicable in the global environment.
This booklet is a joint publication of the Cave Hill, Mona and St. Augustine campuses of The Uni- versity of the West Indies. It contains information on the undergraduate, diploma and certificate programmes available at the three campuses.
