*Hotel/Tourism Management (B.Sc.) First Year Courses ONLY. Second and Third Year will be offered in the Bahamas.

**Hospitality & Tourism Management (B.Sc.) This Joint UWI/ Trinidad and Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute (TTHTI) Programme is offered over a four-year period – Years 1

and 2 at the TTHTI and Years 3 and 4 at UWI.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Subject at CSEC (CXC) General/GCE O-Level:

  • Minimum of five (5) passes at CSEC (CXC) General Proficiency (Grades I-III) or GCE subjects

  • Compulsory - English Language, Mathematics

  • Passes in at least two 2-unit CAPE or two GCE A-Level subjects. (For Management, Psychology and Account- ing), high A-Level grades are required in three (3) subjects.

OR

  • Associate degrees, diplomas and certificates from other approved tertiary level institutions with a GPA of 2.5 and above.

B.Sc. Social Work (Special)

Grades of other Associate Degree programmes equivalent to TTHTI’s revised programme will be considered for admission.

NOTE: Applicants for entry into Economics, Ac- counting, Management Studies and Psychology degree options (specials and majors) are required to have a minimum of a Grade II pass in Math- ematics at the CSEC CXC General Proficiency/O- level or qualifications deemed equivalent by the Faculty Board.

ADMISSION CRITERIA In order to be admitted to the Second Phase of the B.Sc. Hospitality & Tourism programme at UWI, St. Augustine, students must complete the Trinidad and Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute (TTHTI) Associate Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Man- agement with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 based on the TTHTI Grade Point Sys- tem.
