FIRST I'M GOING TO ASK PATRICK MACLENNAHAN, WHO'S THE SENIOR VICE-PRESIDENT AND GENERAL MANAGER FOR KCBS, KCAL, TO COME UP AND SAY A FEW WORDS. HE'S JOINED BY ANN MARTIN, A NEWS ANCHOR WHO STARTED AS AN ANCHOR WHEN SHE WAS SIX. DAVE CLARK, WHO IS ALSO NEWS ANCHOR AND WELL KNOWN TO ALL OF US, AND STEPHANIE RODRIGUEZ IS DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS. WHY DON'T WE START WITH PATRICK. [ APPLAUSE ]

PATRICK MACLENNAHAN: MY NAME IS PATRICK MACLENNAHAN, I'M SENIOR VICE-PRESIDENT AND STATION MANAGER OF KCAL AND KCBS. ON BEHALF OF OUR GENERAL MANAGER, DON CORSINI, AND OUR PARENT COMPANY, VIACOM, WE WANT TO THANK YOU FOR THIS RECOGNITION. BUT WE TRULY SEE THIS AS A MAJOR PART OF OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO THE COMMUNITY. IN FACT, THE TOPIC OF THIS SUBJECT CAME FROM THE COMMUNITY ITSELF AS MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY TOLD US THAT THE NUMBER ONE ISSUE TO THEM IN THIS DAY AND AGE IS SAFETY AT HOME, IN THE COMMUNITIES, IN THE HOMES IN WHICH THEY LIVE AND RAISE THEIR CHILDREN.
