SHE WAS ALSO A FORMER TENNIS CHAMPION AND WHITEMAN CUP WINNER WHO, LATER IN LIFE, WON THE STATE SENIOR TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP IN DOUBLES. SHE WAS ALSO AN ACTIVE POLITICAL WIFE CAMPAIGNING FOR HER HUSBAND DURING HIS EIGHT TERM CONGRESSIONAL CAREER. SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER HUSBAND AND THEIR SEVEN SONS AND 18 GRANDCHILDREN. ALLEN CRAIG CARTER, WHO IS A LOS ANGELES DEPUTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY. HE PASSED AWAY AT THE AGE OF 55. HE WAS A 21-YEAR VETERAN OF THE D.A.'S OFFICE AND WELL RESPECTED BY HIS PEERS. HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, DAUGHTER, PARENTS, AND THREE SISTERS. CHIAN WONG, WHO PASSED AWAY APRIL 7TH, IS THE FATHER OF OUR COUNTY EMPLOYEE, GLORY WONG, AND HE LEAVES HIS WIFE AND CHILDREN. HE ALSO WAS ON THE CHINESE OLYMPICS TEAM BACK IN 1938 AND ALSO WAS INVOLVED WITH THE FIGHTING WORLD WAR II WITH THE AIR FORCE IN CHINA. HE PASSED AWAY ON APRIL 7TH AT AGE 83. MARGARETTA HUNTSBERGER, LONG-TIME GLENDALE RESIDENT WHO WAS QUITE INVOLVED WITH THE GLENDALE SYMPHONY, PASSED AWAY AT THE AGE OF 89. SHE WORKED FOR BOTH THE GLENDALE AND PASADENA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICTS BEFORE RETIRING TO RAISE A FAMILY. SHE WAS ACTIVE IN THE K.A.O. CHAPTER OF P.E.O. IN GLENDALE AND THE WOMEN'S COMMITTEE OF THE GLENDALE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA WHERE SHE SERVED AS PRESIDENT FROM 1964 TO '65. SHE AND HER HUSBAND, GLEN, WHO ALSO HAD PASSED AWAY A FEW YEARS AGO, WERE
