I HAPPENED TO SEE A COPY OF THE SAME ARTICLE AND AT LEAST REPORT BACK TO THE BOARD ON, YOU KNOW, THE WHOLE SERIES OF QUESTIONS, NOT ONLY THAT SHE'S RAISED BUT SOME OF US HAVE RAISED AS WELL AS THE HOW AND WHAT FORS. I WOULD LIKE TO AMEND ITEM NUMBER 5, WHICH WOULD BE TO MOVE THAT THE COUNTY LIBRARIAN BE DIRECTED TO DEVELOP SEVERAL CURTAILMENT PLANS FOR THE PURPOSES OF FISCAL YEAR 2004/2005 BUDGET DELIBERATIONS. THIS WILL ALLOW THE LIBRARIAN TO COME UP WITH A VARIETY OF CURTAILMENT SCENARIOS IF BUDGET CUTS ARE PROPOSED DURING DELIBERATIONS. THIS ALLOWS HER A FREE HAND TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT ALL FACTORS
