AT HOME. AND IT'S GOING TO BE ONE OF THOSE PLACES. SO LET'S TRY AND FIND THOSE PARTNERSHIPS. SO, AGAIN, ALL I'M ASKING IS THAT THE LIBRARIAN COME UP WITH A SERIES OF OPTIONS. WHAT WE WILL ADOPT MAY BE DIFFERENT BUT I DON'T WANT TO ACCEPT IT AS A SUBSTITUTE AS IT'S WRITTEN HERE.

KNABE, CHAIR: I MEAN, I WOULD JUST ADD, AS YOU SAID, SUPERVISOR, I MEAN, THERE'S BEEN, WHAT, 11 CITIES AND SOME UNINCORPORATED AREAS THAT HAVE-- THAT ARE ALL THE INCORPORATED-- UNINCORPORATED AREAS THAT HAVE PASSED THE LIBRARY PARCEL TAX BUT, ALSO, THERE HAVE BEEN OTHER COMMUNITIES THAT MAY BE NOT BE PARTICIPATING THROUGH THE LIBRARY TAX, THE PARCEL TAX, BUT THROUGH CONTRIBUTION OF CITY FUNDS.

SUP. MOLINA: WELL, I THINK WE SHOULD LOOK AT THOSE.

SUP. KNABE, CHAIR: YOU KNOW, AND FRIENDS OF LIBRARY GROUPS THAT HAVE MAJOR FUNDRAISING EVENTS EACH AND EVERY YEAR FOR THE LIBRARIES. SO THERE'S BEEN A LOT OF SORT OF IN-KIND DONATIONS. I KNOW SEVERAL OF THE LIBRARIES IN MY DISTRICT HAVE MAJOR FUNDRAISERS EACH AND EVERY YEAR, FROM NEW CARPETING TO PAINT, COMPUTERS TO WHATEVER IT MAY BE. SO I JUST-- THE ONLY THING THAT BOTHERED ME ABOUT YOUR MOTION WAS THE FACT IT WAS SORT OF NEGATIVE IN THE SENSE THAT, YOU KNOW, JUST BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T
