SUP. BURKE: NO, IT'S NOT GOING TO BE GROUP PET INSURANCE. MY UNDERSTANDING IS THE WAY...

SUP. MOLINA: WHAT KIND OF INSURANCE?

SUP. BURKE: ...THIS WOULD BE-- WELL, IT WOULD BE A MATTER THAT THE VERY FACT THAT COUNTY EMPLOYEES WOULD GET A RATE ON THOSE-- ANY COUNTY EMPLOYEE WHO CALLED, IDENTIFIED THEMSELF AS A COUNTY EMPLOYEE, COULD GET A RATE IN TERMS OF THAT PET INSURANCE.

SUP. MOLINA: SO WHAT ARE THEY-- I WANT TO UNDERSTAND. SO-- BUT THEY'RE GOING TO LOOK TO SOMEONE TO SELL US THIS STUFF, TO THE GROUP. IS THAT IT? THEY GO OUT AND, WHAT, CALL...

SUP. BURKE: I THINK THAT'S WHAT THE REPORT WILL SAY, WHETHER OR NOT THERE'S SOMEONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN SELLING INSURANCE.

SUP. MOLINA: SO SOMEONE IS SUPPOSED TO GO OUT, AGAIN, AND, NOW, THIS IS THE ONE, THE SAME ONE, THAT WHEN WE CALL ABOUT WILD DOGS, ALL RIGHT, THEY SAY, "IF YOU COULD CATCH IT, WE'LL PICK IT UP, BUT IT AIN'T OUR JOB TO GO CATCH IT." THEY'RE TOO BUSY. THEY DON'T HAVE ENOUGH PEOPLE. THIS DEPARTMENT. COME ON, FOLKS! LET'S BE REASONABLE HERE. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO GO DO. THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO GO FIND SOMEONE
