Linguistic imperialism as part of modern ”agentless” neoimperialistic control? 2
”Empire is formed not on the basis of force itself but on the basis of the capacity to present force as being in the service of right and peace” (Hardt & Negri, 2000: 15)
Are lacking LHRs (including lack of multilingual schooling) and other HRs that would enable maintenance and revitalisation, also part of modern ”agentless” neoimperialist control? Does this risk making people complicit in their own disappearance as a people?
