BATTERY and ELECTRICAL COMPARTMENTS: 1. Skirt- mounted slide-out tray & battery box on Type A diesel, C, and D bodies 2. Cables shall have sufficient length to allow full extension of compartment 3. When three batteries are installed the battery tray must be a roll out type 4. Type C & D bodies with A/C or Lift shall have a compartment near but not greater than 24" from the battery box for mounting circuit breakers
