The SOCIETE CENTRALE CANINE presents

THE WORLD DOG SHOW, PARIS 7 - 10 July 2011

France has been chosen by the Fédération Cynologique Internationale, in its centenary year, to host this international event and the Société Centrale Canine has been appointed as Official Organiser. This event features an exhibition area of 90,000 m² and will attract 30,000 dogs and breeders from all over the world. It will take place from 7th to 10th July, 2011.

All the Kennel Clubs in the world will be present at the PARIS show, a unique occasion bringing together professionals amateurs and junior dog lovers and providing the public at large an insight into the dog’s world.

Halls 5 and 6 at the Paris-Nord-Villepinte exhibition centre will provide 90,000 m² of exhibition space, demonstration and competition rings for exhibitors and visitors alike.

385 dog breeds from throughout the world will be the stars of the show with 150 competition rings and 1 main ring for the winner’s election.

A uniting event

  • 30,000 dogs expected

  • 15,000 professionals and exhibitors (judges, breeders, traders)

  • 20,000 visitors

A varied four-day programme, including

3 championships: World Championship, Championship of France, Obedience Championship.

Each day the best selections will be made by breed groups, followed by the Best in Show

  • Best in France Show Championship, Saturday 9th July 2011

  • Best in Show World Championship, Sunday 10th July 2011

Trade exhibition

Many public events centred on the dog world to introduce this sector to the young and old alike …

A "dog-related professions" village: discover dog-related professions (rescue worker, veterinarian, etc.) A "health and well-being" village: veterinary surgery, nutrition, etc. A "training" village: understand the different breeds, learn the dog breed competition rules and aims (criteria, sequence of competitions events, etc.), prepare children to behave correctly in the presence of dogs.
