Subject Summary Record of discussions of the 1st Meeting of Grid Coordination Committee (GCC) of Delhi, held on 12th September 2008 (Friday) in the office of Director(Operations), DTL, Chairman (GCC) at Delhi Transco Office, Shakti Sadan, New Delhi.

Sh. S.R. Sethi, Director (Operations), DTL the Chairman of GCC welcomed the participant and congratulated everybody for the step towards implementation of Delhi State Grid Code being the first State Grid Code in the whole country. Chairman in his inaugural address said that everybody’s endeavor should be for making Delhi city a load shedding free city and the Capital of India should set an example for others to follow in the country. For achieving this he requested everybody to work in a coordinated manner and resolve the issues through various sub-committees of GCC and GCC itself.
The participants were requested to share their views and perceptions on the issues of Delhi Power Supply in the ambit of Electricity Act 2003 and Delhi Grid Code. The participants agreed fully with the views of Chairman, GCC and mentioned that they will work together towards achieving the target set by the Chairman, GCC in terms of un-interrupted and quality power to citizens of Delhi.
Conduct of Business Rules 2008 for GCC.
GM (SLDC) circulated the Draft Business Conduct Rules for GCC in line with that of Northern Regional Power Committee (NRPC). The draft Business Conduct Rules incorporating the suggestions of the STU (DTL) is enclosed as Annexure-2. All the participants were requested by the Chairman, GCC to go through the Draft Conduct of Business Rules 2008 so that the same are finalized in the next meeting of GCC.
2. Connectivity Issues between Discoms and SLDC.
