Association of Maysville, and she had also served on the Hayswood Hospital Auxiliary Board; she was a volunteer for Mason Manor, and she had served the American Red Cross blood drive for the May's Lick School PTA; and
WHEREAS, Anne Orem Parker was a devout member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church where her funeral services were held on January 4, 2002, with Deacon Ernest Hillenmeyer and the Reverend C. Wayne Barnett officiating, and her burial was in the May's Lick Cemetery; and
WHEREAS, the passing of Anne Orem Parker has left a void that cannot be filled, and she is mourned across the length and breadth of the Commonwealth;
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:
Section 1. The House of Representatives does hereby express its profound sense of sorrow upon the passing of Anne Orem Parker, and extends to her family and many friends its most heartfelt sympathy.
Section 2. The passion, dedication, intelligence, and social consciousness Anne Orem Parker brought to the Commonwealth of Kentucky will never be forgotten, and her influence will continue through all the lives she touched.
Section 3. When the House of Representatives adjourns this day, it does so in loving memory and honor of Anne Orem Parker.
Section 4. The Clerk of the House of Representatives is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Mr. Sanford Roff Parker, Kirk Apartments, Maysville, Kentucky 41056.
