COMMON CARRIER OF PROPERTY (EXCEPT HOUSEHOLD GOODS);

General Information GRANT DECISION NOTICES: Permanent motor carrier, broker, and freight forwarder authority applications filed on or after January 1, 1995.

The following requests for authority have been reviewed by the Administration and are published as preliminary grants. Some of the requested service descriptions may have been modified prior to publication to simplify and provide for consistency in authorities issued by the Administration. These grant decision notices do not represent authority to operate.

Amendments to the applications generally are not permitted. Once the application is filed, the applicant may revise an authority request or supplement evidence only with approval of the Administration.

After publication, interested persons may request a copy of the application. The request may be made by writing to the designated contract agent: DC News & Data, Inc., 6 North Glade Court, Gaithersburg, MD 20877, and must be accompanied by a check or money order for $10, payable to DC News & Data, Inc., or may be made by contacting the contract agent at (240) 632-8591 [FAX: (240) 632-8592] and arranging billing as acceptable to the agent.

Applicants will be sent a letter on the day notice of their application appears in the FMCSA Register informing them of their docket number, the publication date, and their insurance and process agent filing requirements and deadlines.

Legally sufficient opposition in the form of verified statements must be filed within 10 days from date of publication.

In the absence of opposition, authorities will be issued to those applicants that, within 20 days from date of publication, have filed evidence of appropriate compliance.

Applications that are not supplemented by the 20th day following FMCSA Register publication with the required insurance and process agent filings will be dismissed. Dismissal notices will be issued to non-complying applicants on the 30th day after FMCSA Register publication.

Authorities will remain in full effect only as long as the applicant maintains appropriate compliance.
