MARCH 21, 2005SHAWNEE PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTESPAGE 70
Associate Planner Allmon stated that if they use a twenty-four foot pole or a nineteen foot pole with a cutoff they would still get adequate coverage with a standard hallide bulb. He stated with the amount of fixtures that they have shown there should not be any concern with lighting on the site. He stated at the same time he did not think that there would be any problems to the west because of the dense tree line, which should help block any spill.
Commissioner Bedora stated that he was not concerned about spill that was the least of his concern, he was more concerned the other way around in that we have sufficient lighting for evening events and that people are comfortable and secure.
Associate Planner Allmon reiterated with the fixtures that the applicant has shown on the plans it appears that the site would have adequate lighting.
