High Quality Hose For The Cost-Conscious Racer

For the enthusiast looking for a quality performance hose while wanting to save assembly time and money, Russell Twist-Lok™ Hose is the way to go. Easy to assemble, flexible and lightweight, it is ideal for most automotive applications where a stainless steel braided line is not necessary.

  • Pressure rated up to 250 psi – suitable for most fuel and oil systems (not for power steering applications)

  • Use with reusable Twist-Lok™ Hose Ends only (see page 11)

  • Works with all AN adapter fittings (see pages 13 thru 18)

High-quality elastomer cover– excellent flexibility and resistance to abrasion.

Fiber braid reinforcement layer is impregnated with synthetic rubber for added durability.

Extruded, synthetic rubber. Inner liner is compatible with most fluids.

Barb technology allows quick, trouble-free assembly without special tools.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1.

Cut hose to length using a sharp knife or shears.

  • 2.

Slide decorative red socket over hose (the hex end goes toward the tip of the hose). Liberally oil the inside of the hose and barbed end of the hose end.

  • 3.

Insert the barbed end into hose using a twisting action. Put the swivel end at center hex in a vise. Use a twist motion to bottom the hex even with the hose edge.

. Using a flat screwdriver, pry the hex socket open and push up until it bottoms out on the hex. Note: Be sure the slot is positioned to the back of the hose assembly for appearance purposes.

TO REUSE TWIST-LOK™ HOSE END

To remove the hose end, take a razor blade and slice the hose through the slit in the red socket. Pry red socket open with a screwdriver and slide red socket backwards.

Remove the barbed end by hand. You are now disassembled. CAUTION: Hose must be recut, removing area expanded by hose barb.
