2003, 2005, 2007Principal Investigator, “Evaluating the Strengths and Challenges of the BSW Program,” University of Montana, a service-learning project conducted in collaboration with the students of SW 400 (Social Work Research) to investigate the strengths and challenges of the BSW program.
2002-2003Principal Investigator, “Single Foster Mothers: Strengths, Challenges, and Possibilities,” a community-based participatory research project investigating the experiences of single foster mothers involved with Missoula Youth Homes and Casey Family, two community-based foster placement programs.
2000-2001Principal Investigator, “Skipping School in Montana: Welfare Reform and Post-Secondary Education,” Montana Campus Compact Grant ($3,000), a service learning project involving students in SW 324 (Gender and the Politics of Welfare) in a collaborative community-based participatory research project to address the impacts of welfare reform policies on the participation of welfare recipients in post-secondary education. Project conducted in partnership with WORD (Women’s Opportunity and Resource Development, Inc.).
