Project/Job Description: The Raymondville Drain Outfall System will provide flood protection for the residents of Hidalgo & Willacy Counties from future storm events.
The system will support current and future economic growth along existing development and potentially flood-prone areas of the two counties. DL, Inc. has worked with S&B Infrastructure to provide agency coordination and governmental research for the project. DL, Inc. is responsible for coordinating public meetings and community involvement projects associated with maximizing public participation and awareness.
Recently, DL, Inc.’s efforts have led to the inclusion of cost savings language on the House version of the Water Resources Development Act that will save Hidalgo County taxpayers approximately, $50 million dollars.
