by various groups of NSS volunteers. On 24th December 2007, NSS volunteers cleaned up Gurudwara Mata Sahib Kaur, Sahauran. On 27th December, Cleanliness drive was carried out in the different parts of the village, which included cleaning the outside area of the wells and removing the congress grass. On 28th December volunteers carried the Cleanliness Drive from the Primary School to the Dharamshala. The Cleanliness Drive included the streets and the area around the Dharamshala and Primary School.

The NSS Volunteers themselves prepared the lunch and served the same during the stay in the camp.

Valedictory Function

Sh. Jagmohan Singh Kang, Former Minister in Punjab Government was the Chief Guest for the Valedictory function. Cultural Programme prepared by villagers under the guidance of pupil teachers was presented. All the guests, villagers and volunteers enjoyed lunch prepared and served by NSS Volunteers.  


All the students were divided into tutorial groups for giving them individual attention and a platform for boosting their confidence and developing innate abilities.

Morning Assembly 1: Tutorial Groups 4 and 8 under the guidance of Mrs. Parul Bhargava and Mrs. Amritpal Kaur conducted morning assembly on 20th December 2007 on the themes Human Rights and Female Feticide.

Morning Assembly 2: Tutorial Groups 1 and 5 under the guidance of Mr. D. Raj and Mrs. Supreet Kaur conducted morning assembly on 20th December 2007 on the themes Social Service and AIDS Awareness respectively.

Morning Assembly 3: Tutorial Groups 2 and 9 under the guidance of Mr. Surinder and Mrs. Jaswinder Kaur conducted morning assembly on 29th January 2008 on the theme National Integration.
