Their references and their consideration, under a phenomenographic research context, in comparison to the content of the text itself reveal that students’ expressions reflect the component parts of the text and represent qualitatively different ways of their understanding. The differentiation consists in each student’s ability to discern aspects of this text, to relate and handle them and simultaneously to keep all relevant aspects in focal awareness, to evaluate and recognize the important parts. Students’ practice in such an approach is suggested as a useful activity not only for the improvement of their conceptual formation but also for the development of future citizens with understanding and conscious involvement in what happens around in society.
