This planning application seeks planning permission for the erection of a single storey rear extension to a flatted dwellinghouse at 15 Earnock Avenue, Motherwellwhich is located within an established housing area. The extension will provide an additional bedroom as well as providing additional floor space to an existing bedroom and kitchen area. The extension will have a mono pitch and will project 3 metres from the rear building line and be 7.68 metres long.
The extension raises no local plan issues as the site lies with an Established Housing Area in the emerging Southern Area Local Plan Finalised Draft (Modified 2001 and 2004) where household extensions are common place. Adequate rear garden remains at around 65 square metres for this 3
