greatly adds to a positive school climate.  A team page on the school’s website (does not include picture’s of students) is another great idea.  We need to take positive public relations very seriously.  This also includes the conduct of our student-athletes in school, and in the community when out of school.  Again, positive communication cannot be emphasized enough to local newspapers and radio stations.  

Spectator’s Admission Fees (VGS B.P. 7:300 – R)

Admission Policy to VGS Basketball Games

1.  Prices:  Students = $1.00Adults = $2.00

*There are no season ticket packages, nor is there reserved seating unless otherwise dictated for a

                special recognition night etc.  The price of admission for the 5th/6th grade basketball games may changed

                $.50 for students and $1.50 for adults, depending on the number of games played that eveining.

*Regional and Sectional ticket prices will be determined by the SIJHSAA and will be posted

2. FREE GENERAL ADMISSION – STAFF

All VGS Staff  + all family members

-

All current VGS Board Members  +  one immediate family member

-

Retired staff + one immediate family member

3.  FREE GENERAL ADMISSION - REGULAR

Board Member of Vienna High School + one immediate family member

Coaches of Vienna High School  +  one immediate family member

Administrator’s of Vienna High School  +  one immediate family member

Police in Uniform (1)

-

Coaches with conference passes and or one coach from a non-conference school who may be scouting etc.

Administrators of opponent schools

Press and media personnel

Honorees who may be attending for a special recognition night etc.

Special Rules

Coach as an Event Supervisor

1)

Coaches are responsible for their student-athletes during the entire time of engagement.  No activities will occur without supervision.  This engaged time includes:

a.

Locker room supervision before and after practice and games

b.

Transportation supervision to and from away contests

c.

Supervision of every athlete/manager until a ride home by appropriate parent’s/guardian’s can be made from practice and games

d.

Supervision of athletes/managers who are spectators during a contest

e.

Supervision of athletes/managers during other team functions such as attending a high school or college game as a team on a team trip that is facilitated by the coaching staff and approved by administration
